We believe that there are many issues to still look into to achieve more racial equity in policing in Los Altos, including analyzing and acting upon RIPA data, and working on our Military Equipment Use Policy.

School Resource Officers

We believe that there are better alternatives to having police on school campuses. Read our research on why.

Education

We support the inclusion of Ethnic Studies as a requirement for High School graduation at MVLA. We would also like to bring other education opportunities to the general public.

Environment

Most effects of pollution and climate change impact BIPOC and other marginalized communities the hardest, so we want to make sure that BIPOC voices are heard in environmental decisions.

Community Support

We stand with Black Lives Matter, with the AAPI community against hate, and with other community members who have felt the sting of racism and discrimination. Please contact us if you have been victimized or seen racism in our community so we can work together to counter it.

Arts & Events

We feel that Art Programs and other Community Events are great educational opportunities for our community to be exposed to the diverse cultures and traditions we have in Los Altos, so we work with various City Commissions and advocate for diverse programming and event participation.

Accountable Governance

We analyze policies and push our local leaders to work towards a more inclusive Los Altos. We also hold our leaders accountable for their actions, and support candidates that align with our values.
